Scope: These general conditions of sale apply to all bookings and purchases made with Hidden Tables for food tours. By booking a tour with Hidden Tables, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
1 - Booking and payment:
A non-refundable deposit of $1500 is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the tour start date.
2 - Cancellation policy:
- Deposit: A deposit of $1500 is required to secure your place on the food tour.
- Balance Payment: The balance of the tour fee must be paid in full no later than 60 days prior to the trip start date to confirm your reservation.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellation more than 60 days prior to trip start: If you cancel after paying the full amount and more than 60 days before the trip start date, you will receive a full refund, minus the $1500 deposit.
- Cancellation within 60 days of trip start: If you cancel within 60 days of the trip start date, no refunds will be issued.
Please ensure all payments are made within the specified timeframes to avoid cancellation of your reservation.
3 - Not included in the tour price:
Airfare to and from the tour destination, transportation, travel and medical insurance, activities outside the planned itinerary, additional hotel nights (prior to or after the tour dates), and incidental expenses such as room service, laundry, and hotel bar charges are not covered by the tour price.
4 - Visa and documentation:
Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary visas and documentation required for travel to the destination country.
Hidden Tables is not responsible for any issues arising from inadequate documentation.
5 - Travel insurance:
We strongly recommend that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost belongings during the tour.
6 - Responsibility and liability:
While Hidden Tables takes every precaution to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, participants acknowledge that travel inherently carries risks. Hidden Tables is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or other losses incurred during the tour.
7 - Trip start date:
The tour start date is specified in your booking confirmation. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure they arrive on time for the tour start, regardless of flight cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances Hidden Tables is not responsible for missed tour departures due to participant delays.
8 - Itinerary changes:
Hidden Tables reserves the right to modify the tour itinerary or accommodations if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be notified of any changes promptly.
9 - Additional terms:
Any additional terms specific to your booking will be communicated to you upon reservation.
